If you liked the 2020 Polygon D7, then you’ll LOVE the 2021 Polygon D7! Upgrades include a full Shimano Deore Drivetrain and a Rockshox rear air shock.

The new 2021 Polygon Siskiu D7 has become one of the most popular and highest selling dual-suspension bikes for Polygon. Capitalizing on extensive R & D, state of the art testing facilities, and feedback from top-level riders, the Polygon Sikiu D7 defies what an outstanding value dual-suspension mountain bike is capable of. This year’s host of upgrades tick all the boxes for those looking for a bike with modern geometry, great XC pedaling efficiency, and all-mountain capability.

The D7 is built around a lightweight, ALX aluminum boost frame that boasts a modern rider’s modern geometry. The bike now has a slacker head tube angle, more extended reach, lower BB, and shorter chain-stay to boost your performance in climbing or to descend, no matter the distance, technicality, or gradient. Polygon has also revised kinematics on the Siskiu D. The anti-squat has been optimized, and the suspension is more progressive. It has 120mm of travel in the rear, with a one-piece linkage system that reduces lateral flex in the rear triangle and improves the linear movement and performance of the shock. The frame now also comes with room for a water bottle mount.

Perhaps the most significant upgrade to the Siskiu D7 frame is the integration of Polygon’s new Wheel Fit Size System. Each frame size is paired with the wheel size that best fits the rider and sets them up for optimal efficiency and power transfer. We match 29er wheels with 18.5″ and larger bikes, and more proportional, better-fitting 27.5-inch wheels for 17.5″ and smaller bikes. Additional to this is a Tranz X JD-YSP23JL, 459mm with a dropper post 150mm (S-M) / 170mm (L-XL) Travel, Remote Lever, making this bike exceptionally more capable and comfortable when descending.

An upgraded full Shimano 1 x 11 drivetrain powers the D7 with a Shimano Deore rear derailleur with a clutch and a massive 51T rear cassette providing plenty of range to glide up those steep climbs. The Shimano Deore Crankset allows for quality and power while continuing the clean looks of the bike.

Dampening duties on the D7 are provided by a RockShox Recon Silver RL front air fork, which now comes with beefier chassis and stout 32mm Fast Black steel upper tubes. This is combined with a dependable RockShox Deluxe Select Plus air shock on the rear, offering the compliance and smooth-riding you’ve come to love from Rockshox. The bike rolls on a pair of wide 29mm rim Entity X15 double-wall wheels and Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 2.25″ tires, giving you loads of traction for climbs and hitting the berms.

If you’re looking for a bike to do it all with killer style and a dependable, high quality, trail-ready components list, then the Siskiu D7 is the bike for you!
